Ledro Sky Trentino
On 24 May 2026, the Valle di Ledro will host a must-attend event on the international trail running scene: a stage of the Golden Trail World Series by SALOMON, the circuit that brings together the world’s top athletes on the most spectacular races on the planet.
Trail runners will compete on a technical and panoramic trail that follows the historic route of the Ledro Sky: 21 km with 1,700 metres of elevation gain, featuring tough climbs, adrenaline-filled descents, and breathtaking scenery.
The course climbs above the treeline and follows the famous “greste” – the ridgelines of the Valle di Ledro – in a continuous up-and-down between Cima Parì, Cima Sclapa and Cima d’Oro, along the Pichea–Rocchetta ridge, a protected area of great natural value, part of the Alpi Ledrensi Nature Reserve Network and recognised by the UNESCO MAB Programme.

RACE COURSE
The Ledro Sky Trentino course, official stage of the Golden Trail World Series 2026, closely follows the legendary route that made the Valle di Ledro a landmark in the trail running world — with an additional 2 km and 100 metres of elevation gain.
The start and finish are set in Pieve di Ledro, featuring an initial scenic stretch along the lakeshore and a spectacular finale on the Ledro Trek Low, also known as the Sentiero dei Piloni, which leads from Mezzolago back to the finish line.
The most iconic section? The Senter de le Greste, connecting Cima Parì to Cima d’Oro — a ridge trail suspended between sky and rock, and one of the most breathtaking segments of the entire circuit.

MINI ledro sky TRENTINO - kids
The Mini Ledro Sky Trentino is an event for children, designed to introduce young participants to trail running in a fun and safe way. It takes place in Pieve di Ledro on a lakeside course closed to traffic.
Participation is free and open to children up to 13 years old, with no ranking.
All participants will receive refreshments and a souvenir.

If you’re in the Ledro Valley and don’t want to miss a second of the Ledro Sky Trentino there are plenty of ways to be part of the experience.
In Pieve di Ledro, near the start and finish line, a big screen will broadcast the entire race live – the perfect spot to cheer together and soak up the race atmosphere.

Rifugio Pernici: perfect for cheering and snacking – also reachable by MTB

Saval: from the malga, you’ll see athletes emerge from the woods and climb toward Caset. Move to Bocca to watch them return from Pernici and tackle the ascent to Cima Parì

Cima Parì: the highest point of the race and official KOM/QOM of the Ledro Sky Trentino

Sentiero delle Greste: a breathtaking ridge path where athletes run just steps from the sky (not recommended for those with vertigo!)

Bocca Dromaè: between the ridges and the climb to Cima d’Oro – a great spot with stunning views over Lake Ledro
